ARTIFICIAL LANDSCAPES IN THE COMPLEX TRANSFORMATION OF DEVASTATED CITY TERRITORIES
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №2 (78) June, 2022
Issues in artificial landscape development are interpreted as interrelated concepts from the perspective of both creating an urban planning methodology of waste management and applying space-planning techniques for introducing smart city infrastructure into the urban environment. With this approach, the system of artificial landscapes is capable of participating in the production of a special socio-cultural scenario in city sanitary cleaning management, but this requires special attitude to the conservation of urban planning and architectural heritage, historical skylines, panoramas and valuable historical environments, as well as identifying visual zones for the protection of cultural heritage objects.
An analysis of the artificial landscape development agenda in smart city systems suggests the following key methods for optimizing affected city areas: creation of spatial planning emphases on artificial terrains to enable a material base to be set up for the introduction of ICT parks for various purposes in DT in smart cities; conversion of DT through the construction of underground, banked and overground capital facilities with landscaped roofs and terraces; and introduction of ICT in landscape bridges.
These approaches would enable artificial landscapes to contribute to the creation of special socio-cultural scenarios for household waste management in the Russian Federation and other countries of the world.
