DEVELOPMENT OF A CHARACTER FOR THE NARRATIVE ANIMATION MOVIE
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №2 (66) June, 2019
The article is devoted to the ways of creating characters in narrative animated cinema as one of its directions which is based on a dramatic story with the characters being its drivers. The development of the plot, the turns of events depend on the actions of the characters: the movie begins with the heroes, and ends with them. Therefore, in the process of shooting the film, it is necessary to pay great attention to the characters and, first of all, to the development of the main one. There are rules and techniques which make it possible to avoid mistakes in creating an animated character. The article analyzes animated films created by different authors. It is concluded that the general impact of the story on the viewer depends on the use of archetypes, careful study of the character and its characterization, and on the precise formulation of its goals and desires.
