The focus is on the object of cultural heritage "The House of the office-holder A.I.Bezborodov", the author of which (architectural design) is currently undetermined. Having analyzed the architectural projects of those who designed and built manor houses during the time when this heritage object was erected, I briefly characterize the creative method and make a suggestion concerning the authorship of this cultural heritage object.

House-to-house street planning and estate house upsizing in Yekaterinburg in the 19th – early 20th century

The article discusses the upsizing of estate houses in Yekaterinburg in the 19th – early 20th century. The reasons for such upsizing are described, and the upsizing mechanism (reconstruction) is analyzed. An attempt is made to classify reconstructed buildings. The article may be of interest to students (study program – restoration and reconstruction of architectural heritage), restoration architects, art historians, heritage conservation, preservation and popularization specialists, and historical and cultural heritage assessment experts.
