The architectural spaces of a children's rehabilitation center based on adaptive technologies

Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №1 (85) March, 2024

The architectural spaces of children's rehabilitation centers that use adaptive technologies are reviewed. The spatial characteristics of modern hospital premises in which innovative adaptive devices are used for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities are identified. Several rehabilitation centers employing adaptive technologies were reviewed to determine the main types of devices used in the treatment and their impact on the space in which they are located. Based on this review, zoning specifics and scenarios of movement in the premises with adaptive technologies have been identified, and the functional and planning features of the architectural space in rehabilitation premises are formulated.
