An outlook for integrating lighting design into currently used stylobate structures

Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №1 (89) March, 2024

Engineering solutions that embody the key conceptual directions for integrating outdoor lighting into combined stylobate structures have been considered. These directions include safety, lighting comfort, architectural aesthetics of urban space, and energy efficiency. Innovations in outdoor lighting are presented as factors influencing the transformation of urban plans in the context of stylobate improvement. The articles describes the main requirements, principles, and methods for organizing outdoor lighting in key urban planning elements that contribute to the resolution of strategic lighting tasks: creation of a comfortable lighting environment, improvement of public spaces, satisfaction of moral and aesthetic needs, and enhancement of the quality of life. Conceptual solutions for outdoor lighting have been formulated taking into account modern trends in the development of combined structures.
