Design criteria for temporary buildings and structures after natural disasters

The purpose of the study is to develop design criteria for temporary prefabricated structures after natural disasters based on the analysis of developments and projects of foreign and domestic architects and researchers in the field of temporary prefabricated construction.
The main criteria for the design of temporary prefabricated structures have been identified as follows: safety, comfort/quality of life, social aspects, accessibility, residents' involvement in the construction phase/participation in housing creation, transportability and speed of assembly/flexibility of transportation options/use of standard lifting and shunting equipment, modularity/versatility, environmental compatibility, adaptability, cost-effectiveness.
The creation of temporary structures that provide for all basic needs, comfort and rapid response after a disaster is a solution to the problem of transition from loss of home to complete restoration of the affected area.
