Development directions of industrial zones in Absheron

This study examines the concepts for rehabilitating industrial zones in Baku and Absheron, considering their investment attractiveness and potential adaptation to modern urban planning requirements. Various approaches to industrial zone renovation are analyzed, including full refunctionalization, partial rehabilitation with preservation of certain structures, and modernization of existing industries. The proposed strategy aims at the sustainable development of the urban environment, improving its ecological condition, and creating favorable conditions for the socio-economic growth of the region. The study emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach to industrial zone reconstruction, combining technical modernization, economic revitalization, social development, and environmental rehabilitation.
