"Relative uniqueness": The Palace of water sports in Yekaterinburg

The article reviews the appearance of the Palace of Water Sports in Yekaterinburg designed by Archinform architectural studio and built in 2023. The object is examined within the typological range of Russian and international facilities of similar function and objects displaying similar architectural solutions. The comparative analysis of the select facilities regarding their forms and consideration of the figurative analogies identified in the object under study revealed its unique and typical architectural and figurative features.
