The study aims to provide a conceptual basis for the possibility of integrating the conceptual study of tactile communication into the theory of design and describes it as a current trend in the context of modern design and culture. The author concludes that only through a new, tactile-oriented design can the individual of the meta-modernist era directly experience the reality from which he was distanced by a visual sign culture.
