Application of creative ideation practices using the example of school storage system design

The article presents the results of the practical application of ideation methods in the search for design solutions for the storage of school supplies, inventory and personal belongings of students. Current ideation techniques used in design are analyzed. A series of ideas found using methods such as Mental Map, Synectics, SCAMPER, Bionics, Focal Object Method, and Morphological Box are graphically presented.
The progress of work on the design project to create a universal modular school storage system is illustrated as a continuation of a previously conducted analysis of modern school spatial environments and storage systems. Various options of storage modules assembly in a school environment are presented. The work is interesting from both design and methodological points of view as it allows one to identify key elements in creativity and creative thinking and provides a structured approach to the research and development of these aspects.

FORMALIZING THE ASSESSMENT OF VISUAL PERCEPTION OF THE LAYOUT OF AN ADVERTISING AND INFORMATIONAL MESSAGE

The article analyzes the principles underlying the visual perception of information and advertising design. Subjective and objective factors that affect such perception are highlighted. A classification of information design objects by speed of information perception is proposed. Indicators are identified based on which criteria for evaluating the composition and effectiveness of advertisement information layout have been developed, which are information recognition and ordering. An algorithm is suggested for evaluating the composition and effectiveness of informational message layout depending on expected perceptual speed. It is expected that the layout evaluation algorithms and principles developed will enable comparative assessment of layouts with various arrangements of elements to be performed.

CINEMATOGRAPHICS AS A DESIGN TECHNIQUE FOR CREATING IDENTITY ELEMENTS

The article considers the origins of animated images and optical toys and cinematographics as desktop animation technique. The principle of action and creation of streaky animation is reviewed. The idea of cinematographics and desktop animation is realized in the identity of an intellectual toys shop for the purpose of creating dynamic elements.
