An environmental course should be part of the professional body of knowledge for town planners and architects. The ecologization of contemporary architecture and planning is only possible based on the knowledge of laws and rules that govern the functioning of the man-environment system. Consideration of these laws in the context of a specific landscape should enable the natural variety and its specific use to be shown on the basis of a systems and environmental approach.
