CREATING A METAPHORICAL ARCHITECTURAL DISCOURSE FOR OPTIMISING THE COGNITIVE COMPONENT

The article identifies a property that is inherent in the Internet discourse, which is regular cross-cultural communication. The author considers the formation of a body of texts as a researcher’s information basis for cognition. The contemporary scholar selects techniques for setting out verbal and non-verbal channels of a cognitive discourse. Observations are offered concerning the use of the architectural discourse in research literature. Today this area often becomes a kind of junction of intercultural image-related and terminological interactions, providing an optimal cognitive framework for expressing the meaning of being systemic. The cognitive activity of a researcher involves the realization of different components of the discourse of "Architecture". Interactions between the general scientific and architectural discourses are described as they are employed for activating the cognitive activity of the text user. The broad methodology of discursive analysis is used, combined with elements of the comparative method.

Авторы статьи делают попытку представить феномен «Город» как гипертекстовую реальность, рассмотреть во всем многообразии, на многих уровнях (временном, пространственном и др.) коммуникативные связи между городом, как объектом и субъектом коммуникации, и человеком. Город представляется авторами как семиотическое пространство во взаимодействии разных типов коммуникаций (вербальной, визуальной и др.).
