NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF OPEN SPACES

Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №4 (68) December, 2019

The article focuses on the use of Depthmap software to analyze pedestrian spaces as an automated method. The influence of spatial constraints on the analysis results is estimated. The results of the analysis are compared with those of a field survey. Parameters for analysis of transit and local traffic are recommended. The program is useful for identifying potential passage at configuration level.
