FORMATION OF A LEXICON OF NEW CONCEPTS IN THE ORGANIC APPROACH TO DESIGN

The continuous process of physical and intellectual evolution has led the mankind to new discoveries and ideas in the area of artificial intelligence. Continuous mutations, hybridization and interaction between computer models and reality leads to the emergence of new terminology and formation of a lexicon describing the organic approach to design at a new level of evolution. The very issue of defining organic architecture as a "live" phenomenon, modifying itself in time or depending on the design context today, is a challenge. Contemporary architecture promoting the organic approach to design includes a range of directions – from eco-bio-architecture to virtual and landform varieties. The terminology and methodology chosen by F.L.Wright for describing and modelling organic architecture cannot remain unchanged. In Greg Lynn’s descriptions of basic virtual design models one can come across such concepts as "pocket", "bubble", "bend", "flower", "locks", "pattern", "skin", "teeth", "branch", "veins". As a result, we deal with a strategy of mixing diverse concepts. The use of virtual models as fundamental in architectural design would ensure a multi-variant character of objects, transforming the environment in which the individual, architecture and nature coexist into a complex interrelated system in which each component is non-identical to another and embodies a concept of creating organic integrity.

ЭВОЛЮЦИЯ ОРГАНИЧЕСКОЙ АРХИТЕКТУРЫ

В статье рассматриваются проблемы развития органического подхода в архитектуре в контексте формообразующих, структурных и конструктивных принципов. В ходе анализа развития современной архитектуры отмечается отход от механического подхода к проектированию и выявляются основные принципы формирования органических объектов, а также методы проектирования, органично вписывающиеся в процесс жизнедеятельности человека и окружающей среды. На основе определенных методов дальнейшего развития предлагается обобщенная классификация новейшей архитектуры лэндморфинга и приобщение виртуальной архитектуры к органическому подходу.
