Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №2 (30) June, 2010

The article considers some aspects of the issue of humanization of an urban architectural environment. The author presents an analysis of the existing situation in the city of Ekaterinburg and shows the principal ways of solving its problem. The article concludes with a brief description of the author’s concept for the reconstruction of a site in the city fabric using the means of humanizing the architectural environment.
