Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №2 (30) June, 2010

The article is devoted to architectural rehabilitation and landscaping of man-made technogenic terrains in urban environments. It proposes a classification of the main principles, directions, methods and means of rehabilitation on the basis of complex appraisal of the modern-day condition of man-made technogenic terrain. A model of architectural landscape rehabilitation has been tested in the urban environment of Kachkanar, where the man-made terrain presents a mixed type, typical of the Urals.
