ADAPTATION OF COMPOSITIONAL TECHNIQUES IN THE LANDSCAPING OF PUBLIC SPACES IN MODERN KAZAKHSTAN PRACTICE

Research on how to achieve urban landscape diversity in modern megacities of Kazakhstan by filling landscape fragments with imaginative experiences that go beyond standards led the authors to understand the need to develop basic methods for forming the spirit of a place directly in the landscape, without being tied directly to its architecture. The question is not about the preservation of historical monuments and historical heritage, which is, undoubtedly, extremely important, but about the ability to form a new environment filled with meaning. The authors review some of their design studies into modern interpretation of the spirit of the place in urban landscaping. The analytics include design graphics from the conceptual design and detailed development phases. New concepts and their sequence of use in landscaping concept design are suggested, such as "landscape space directing", "emotional map of the landscape environment", and "landscape legend".

MODERN APPROACHES TO CONCEPTUAL AND COMPOSITIONAL DESIGN OF LANDSCAPE PARKS IN KAZAKHSTAN

All areas of landscape architecture are solving the challenge of landscape design contributing to the development of a sustainable, eco-friendly and aesthetically fulfilling living environment (urban environments, recreation areas, parks, squares, courtyards, etc.). Conceptual design plays a part in the formation of emotional ties with the site designed and encourages individuality and ownership of the environment. The use of graphic interpretations of semantic manifestations of natural elements has a positive effect on the formation of ecological parks designed to unobtrusively introduce natural elements into the man-made environment. The article describes a design technique for introducing conceptually justified "curved lines" into the park landscape environment as a way of creating a contemporary natural environment composition.
