THE PLANNING CONVERSION OF THE SETTLEMENT STRUCTURES IN CASABLANCA PREFECTURE (MOROCCO). FROM TOTAL HIERARCHY TO DISPERSED MODULAR SYSTEM

Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №3 (79) September, 2022

Interest in the problem of the structural organisation of a city and its suburban zones that in aggregate form the actual boundaries of the built-up area has been there for a long time. From the mid-20th century, big cities became an important object of research and wide discussions in geography, planning, and regional policy. Currently it is assumed that postindustrial cities are more promising and suitable for residence in modern society. Postindustrial cities are not only more livebale but they are also economically more efficient.
