Development dynamics and topical requirements in the typology of apartment rental housing

This article analyzes the typology of rental housing for young people seeking professional careers. Renting is the most appropriate form of affordable housing to meet the needs of this segment. Based on a historical overview of rental housing typologies, from apartment buildings to modern apartment hotels, the article identifies the optimal balance of living and service areas to meet the needs of comfortable living while maintaining privacy and security for residents of rental complexes. Architectural planning techniques for ensuring privacy and security are identified. A survey was conducted to identify consumer preferences in apartment layouts, as well as the availability of appropriate services and amenities required by this type of user. The results of the study are of interest to practicing architects.
