Analysis of consumer properties of a design product as a basis for criticism, review and expert evaluation in artistic design

The analysis of consumer properties is an integral part of professional design practice. Evaluation contributes to increased design efficiency and improved product quality. Acquisition of consumer properties evaluation skills and ability to apply these skills in practice requires immersion in information, scientific, theoretical, and problematic materials. Criticism in design includes knowledge in such disciplines as design engineering, ergonomics, sociology, aesthetics, design history, and marketing. The volume of professional knowledge must be expanded and deepened, as the requirements for criticism, review, and expert evaluation are constantly updated and supplemented.
