Artistic concepts of children's play spaces (based on student projects from the institute of architecture and design, Siberian Federal University)

This paper examines artistic treatment of children's playgrounds and identifies historically established approaches to their design. The characteristics of the modern play environment are considered in the context of 21st-century sociocultural transformations. The methodology of artistic concept development in student design projects established at the Institute of Architecture and Design, Siberian Federal University, is presented.
