Development of improvement projects is discussed focusing on the identity of the site and relationship between architectural forms used in public space improvement and socio-cultural heritage of the site for which the improvement project proposal is developed, with special reference to the cities and towns of Sverdlovsk region. We also propose an algorithm for developing an idea and conceptual design for improvement projects the purpose of which is not only to harmonize spaces but also to preserve and accurately translate cultural meanings and subtexts through objects and visual images.

KINETIC ART AS A REFLECTION OF THE ERA OF TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION

The article discusses one of the most relevant areas in the modern media cultural space - kinetic art. The evolution of approaches to the implementation of creative ideas, ranging from the simplest kinetic structures of the 20th century to today's technologically sophisticated solutions, is analyzed. An important emphasis is placed not only on the possibility of creating unique kinetic objects in art using the latest technologies, but also on the constant desire of man to liken these creations to natural creatures. The term «imitating life» is introduced. The analysis of compositional parameters of the described installations is carried out, and also the characteristics that distinguish the living form from the non-living are considered. The estimation of the influence of these parameters on the emotional perception of the object is given. Conclusions are made on the basis of the study.
