The publication reviews the current state of the professional culture of graphical design, issues in theoretical and methodological conceptualization of the designer’s social role, prospects for the evolution of design connected with the development of network and information technologies. The authors formulate a number of conceptual positions and premises highlighting the communication aspect of modern design practice involving multidisciplinary team work and search for interactive solutions to social relations.
