THE PRINCIPLE OF FLEXIBILITY IN COMPOSITION FORMATION OF FASHION COLLECTIONS (THE SPATIAL/TEMPORAL ASPECT)

This paper is devoted to the principle of flexibility in form generation with reference to garment collections. The author specifies the idea of garment collection as an open self-developing design system, which should initially be designed as such, i.e. as capable of adapting to changing external requirements. This feature of a collection is ensured through the evolution of its garment forms over time, within different fashion lines of one brand, and within one line of the same brand.
