MANAGEMENT OF RETAIL TRADE IN A CITY

The article considers possibilities for managing the development of public shopping services. Based on the behaviour patterns of public retail trade participants and analysis of causes underlying the degradation of this infrastructure, the author proposes a mechanism of operation, functions, and structure for its management. For enhancing the efficiency of management of urban public services, the author suggests adding an internal management subsystem to the existing external administration systems. Management is to be based on the principles of regulation of public shopping centre parameters.

SYSTEMS ANALYSIS OF URBAN COMMUNITY SERVICES INFRASTRUCTURE

The article presents a systems analysis of urban community services infrastructure. Infrastructure elements and interactions between them have been identified, and a theoretical model constructed on their basis with a view to updating the existing design methods and monitoring the dynamic urban infrastructure, which is being chaotically deformed in the new economic context for which it was not adapted from the outset. The basic technique used for carrying out detailed decomposition of the services system and studying its multifactorial internal structure is structural functional analysis of urban environment.
