PROSPECTS FOR APPLICATION OF FOAM CONCRETES OF NON-AUTOCLAVE CURING
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №3 (31) September, 2010
This article describes a proposal of a new type of cellular concrete with a density of 400-1800 kg/m3 by dosing superstable foam on the basis of protein components. The addition of superstable foam concentrate makes it possible to achieve density using non-autoclave curing of concretes, which can help to considerably lower power consumption for this material. The use of the proposed material could allow the thickness of enclosing constructions to be reduced, which is important in the modern-day context of shortage of heat and materials. This process would allow the use of complex and curvilinear architectural forms in building and implementation of the most daring projects in urban and rural building construction.
