URBAN PLANNING OF LOW-RISE HOUSING FOR MULTI-CHILD FAMILIES (WITH REFERENCE TO ROSTOV REGION)
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №3 (75) September, 2021
The article considers low-rise housing construction in the Rostov region and evaluates the location of buildings for multi-child families in a large city, a suburban settlement, or in rural settlements. The purpose of the study is to determine the current situation with the siting of housing for large families, plot sizes, development types, and housing typology.
Housing for multi-child families is considered at settlement; development, housing, and land plot levels. The research methods used include graph-analytic review of settlement master plans for large families, cadastral maps, etc. At the level of the development, we identify the main types of low-rise buildings for large families and services available in low-rise residential complexes. The main objects of the study are settlements in the suburban area of Rostov-on-Don, Bataisk, Azov, and rural areas.
The study has enabled us to identify types of housing in residential developments, including detached, terraced, and multi-apartment buildings depending on settlement category (economy, comfort, or premier), for foster families, and available services.
