The article considers the problem of preservation of small rivers in urbanized areas. Any architectural and planning solution of riverfront areas within a city should be based on environmental principles [2]. For such a city as Krasnoyarsk, the development of landscaped areas according to the concept of "green corridors” is particularly critical. The author presents the results of her study and conceptual proposals for the development of the riverside area on the river Bazaikha at its confluence with the river Yenisei allowing for the current urban situation and the approved master plan for Krasnoyarsk till 2033.
