LIM - LANDSCAPE INFORMATION MODELING THROUGH GIS AND BIM INTEGRATION
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №3 (79) September, 2022
The article presents the results of our study of LIM landscape information modeling technology, which is still emerging and does not yet have a single concept. LIM allows you to perform automatic calculations for a landscape project, simulate and visualize plant growth and environmental performance in dynamics. LIM-model can be developed on the basis of GIS and BIM tools, according to which it consists of two main components - terrain information (GIS) and information about landscape objects with their geometry, relationships and attributes (BIM). In the absence of the necessary tools, direct landscape modeling in BIM programs is difficult, so the project can be based on a common data environment with exchange through the IFC format. Various examples of LIM are given, from which it can be concluded that this direction shows promise for solving problems aimed at preserving nature, supporting environmental safety and sustainable development of territories.

CALCULATION METHODS FOR SMART CITY INDICATORS ON THE EXAMPLE OF EKATERINBURG
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №3 (75) September, 2021
The article discusses the «Concept of the Smart City Project of Urban Economy Digitalization» adopted by the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation in December 2020 as a basis for systemic development of smart cities in Russia. Unique parameter-based methods for quantitative estimation of change effectiveness are outlined, including urban environment quality index, city IQ and smart city indicators. These parameters have made it possible to analyze the extent of implementation of smart city technologies in Ekaterinburg and position it among Russian cities as a high-ranking city with comfortable and safe living conditions for its residents.

VIRTUAL 3D RECONSTRUCTION OF HISTORICAL COSTUME
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №1 (69) March, 2020
A process has been developed for virtual 3D-reconstruction of clothes that were worn by representatives of different classes in the Ural region in the 18th – 19th century as an effective composition of software products for creating characters, modeling their clothes, and producing highly realistic 3D visualizations. Based on a study of historical sources, figures of a worker and a townswoman, peasants (male and female), a soldier and a priest have been thus modeled. Such models can be useful in museum practice as multimedia exhibits and in virtual reconstruction of historical urban environments. The technique is exemplified by degree works performed by students of the former Department of Applied Informatics at the Ural State University of Architecture and Art.

VISUALIZATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL OBJECTS
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №4 (64) December, 2018
The article presents technologies of virtual reconstruction of objects using as examples historical buildings of old Yekaterinburg. These technologies include: interactive virtual 3D tour based on panoramic photos; 3D modeling of objects by photogrammetry based on multiple photos; technology of 3D reconstruction of buildings according to historical sources with the formation of true-to-life relief terrain; real-time interactive 3D technology: virtual reality. All examples are student degree projects from the Department of Applied Informatics of the Ural State University of Architecture and Art.

INTERACTIVE VISUALIZATION OF LARGE-SCALE URBAN PROJECTS IN REAL TIME
Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №2 (30) June, 2010
An approach has been developed to visualizing large-scale urban projects, such as modern shopping centres, hotels, etc. with adjoining area. The approach is different in that the degree of detailing of project’s individual fragments is determined dynamically during visualization, which makes it possible to maintain adequate quality of the image in real time without additional requirements as to computer performance. Realization tools are suggested, a concept of the module is proposed, and a corresponding algorithm is developed.
