THE CONCEPT OF ADAPTIVE STRUCTURES IN RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE

The article studies the theoretical and practical aspects of designing adaptive structures. The result of this study is a modelling of a program for designing a residential development in the context of the logic of adaptive structures. The program opens up an opportunity to determine potential for using space allowing for the dynamism of life situations, forecasting of adaptations during the lifetime of a dwelling and increase in its service life.
