An attempt is made at constructing a relationships model for the purpose of determining the positions of the architect and the customer and the consumer on the modern-day architectural and building market.

THE FAILING "CARNIVAL"

The article considers problems arising between the architect and other professions in the area of humanities. The design process is reviewed with reference to the "CARNIVAL" shopping centre in Ekaterinburg, and the main mistakes in teamwork between the architect and the marketing expert are revealed.
