HISTORICAL ARCHETYPES IN THE COMPOSITIONAL AND ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF CONTEMPORARY TALL ARCHITECTURE

Architecton: Proceedings of Higher Education №2 (62) June, 2018

The article expounds some current social aspects relating to the development of modern tall building construction. It defines and classifies the basic historical archetypes of modern tall architectural objects underlying the modern methods of form generation and development of "national" high-rise architecture in various regions of the world and used by known modern architects in their practice. Thus, the continuity between the architectural forms of ancient high-rise architecture and compositional constructions of modern high-rise objects is proved.
